Wii Remote Control Stopped Working

Problem

I have a new problem with my wii remote it stopped sending signals, the light works by the remote seem to have no effect. I have new batteries and until now everything worked fine, I have my Wii console for 3 months.

Solution

  1. The problem where the lights would flash on and then go off happened to me also.

I pressed the 'sync' button on the wii remote and the red 'sync' button on the console at the same time for about 10 seconds. Let go of the buttons and then the lights should flash and light 1 on the remote came up!!!
  2. My Wii controller was jammed like everyone else's. I could navigate the menu but could not swing or bowl or play any of the games. I gave the controller a hard flick... almost like you are cracking a bullwhip. I did it on all 4 sides of the controller to be safe since you don"t know how the accelerometer is jammed up. I also resynced the controller just to be safe. Presto... back in business.
  3. Disconnect the power cord and put it back in again. Worked A Treat!
  4. Yea, I followed the Instructions by Nintendo...I unplugged my Wii's power cord and then re-synced my remotes...no problem and I saved myself about $80.00
  5. Check your sensorbar, take a digital camera or a celphone camera and look at it while the wii is on, if you see some light dots the sensor bar is working fine if not, your remote is probably broken.
Your remote seems to be allright cause the lights your mentioning i take it is the small leds on the remote.
The sensor bar simply outputs IR(infra red)light which is caught by the remote and then the remote talks back tothe wii via bluetooth.
If the sensor bar is busted don´t worry, ican help you there too.
If so wirte me and i will explain it too you..
  6. what appears to have happened is the sensor within the mote has dislodged and been moved out of alignment the smacking both sides works but its only a stop gap solution, you need to open up the mote and tac some solder onto the connections, this will prevent it from going out again, also check the sensor bar is not loose as the cable from the sensor bar can sometimes become loose if it's moved around a lot.

My "wii sports" doesn't work

Problem

what happened is i just bought a new wii and when i put in wii sports and go to the disc channel it either it says unable to read disc check operation manual for trouble shooting or it tells me to eject the game turn my wii of and check the manual for help trouble shooting P.S. please take as emergency it was a birthday gift from my parents and yes im 12

Solution

  1. There is many reasons why the disk may not be working, it could be broken and you have'ft to buy a new one - but before doing all that, take the disk out, whipe it with a piece of cloth for smudges, dirt, and scratches, if still not working try rising it with water, and then drying it (Do NOT put in wet) then if it still doesn't work - you have'ft to buy a new one, or try talking to microsoft for refunds, if microsoft doesn't refund you you are with out that game, or you purchase a new one.
  2. its really funny and awkward and kinda annoying but my wii sports dont work either and i just got it TODAY i swear its really annoyng cuz ive been to like three pages and all of them were about wii sports not bloody working god do they sell faulty wii sports on purpose or something
  3. had them send us a brand new disc and tried it yesterday, it doesn't work either. I think it's a problem with the game in general, the wii fit disc is fabulous

Nintendo Game Boy Advance Console Generic problem for all Video Game Consoles Leapster wont switch on

Problem

Hi i have a leapster but it wont switch on I also have no manual if i could just find the manual id sort it out

Solution

  1. I wanted to report back that I was finally able to purchase a new Leapster. I have been checking multiple retailers for almost 2 months. They had a full stock available this week. I purchased a new one (I had returned mine to the retailer) and am happy to report that all is working beautifully with the new one. I just wish Leapster would have been more open with their communication. It's pretty obvious to me that they were very aware of this issue. Still a fan!!!
  2. Hold down the power on button and did not power up. Still waiting for answer from Leapfrog.

How to adjust the backlight of my gameboy agb-001

Problem

the screen seems so dark

Solution

  1. That particular model does not have a backlit screen. The original Gameboy advanced models like yours all had no backlights and this was a major flaw in the systems design.

There was a company that made something called the afterburner. This was a backlight system that you could add to the gameboy, but it was pretty tough to install correctly as you had to take the entire system apart and could damage things.

Your best bet would be to trade in your current model at a gamestop or similar store and try to pick up a Gameboy Advanced SP model (the square one).

The Gameboy Advanced SP was a redesign of the original GBA and featured different dimensions, and a larger / backlit screen.
  2. I have the same problem...I've heard that it's the battery in the game cartridge that has gone dry....People have said to go to a jeweler to get a tiny battery to replace it, but youll have to open up the cartridge...

Lexmark Printer Install - No Communication Error

Problem

So I got this new printer, a nice Lexmark X5495 all-in-one, fax, scan, copy, photos, prints, all the bells & whistles, right? I install it step by step just like it tells me to do. Everything shows fine, all appears hunky dory. Go to control panel, it says ready, big happy checkmark, it's set as default printer, it's online. Just one problem, it won't print. I get this nasty message that says there's no communication between the computer and printer. I tried 3 different USB cables. I unplugged, restarted, rebooted, tried every USB port on my puter, no go. Same thing. I checked windows firewall, the Lexmark stuff is all checked as exceptions, meaning they are being allowed through. I deleted the other 2 printers from the system. I uninstalled the new printer and reinstalled it - 5 times. I just have the feeling it's something in where the USB cable is hooked up. I have 4 USB ports in the back of the puter. I have 3 in front. All the troubleshooters tell me to check the USB connections and cables, then restart. No go. Same thing. I have Windows XP Home. I have listed this problem under Lexmark X5470 cause the 5495 wasn't listed.
I've been at it for 5 hours now. I know it's something simple and stupid, but that's me - simple and stupid. Any ideas?

Solution

  1. Hi, Maybe you can reload windows XP drivers. from this site:Photo Paper (Letter - 20) -- Lexmark United StatesGood Luck
  2. You might want to check you printer options and make sure that the port of a USB is checked.
